Higgins Boat Coin

This collectable coin celebrates the LCVP "Higgins Boat" which was manufactured here in New Orleans, LA. Front of coin features The National World War II Museum logo and the reverse of the coin reads:

"Built in New Orleans by Higgins Industries, the LCVP or "Higgins Boat" was used for many amphibious landings throughout World War II. Its builder, Andrew Higgins, was described by General Eisenhower as "The man who won the war for us ..."

Coin is approx. 2 1/2-in wide by 1/2-in high and features a beautifully rendered Higgins Boat.
