Vansport Wick Woven Mens Button Longsleeve Shirt

This is a shirt I went back and forth on for a long time about whether I wanted to purchase or not. I have traveled to the National WWII Museum several times over the years and constantly thought about getting this item. I finally decided to get it when I noticed there was such a limited quantity left on the museum website. I can tell you with absolute certainty that I do not regret this purchase one bit.
While the design makes me feel like I am an employee there at the museum, which I would love an opportunity to work at such a historically meaningful museum, I also feel the quality and care that went into making this shirt and appreciate how authentic it feels.
This is a shirt constructed of polyester and cotton, which is typically less expensive than most cotton shirts, but certainly does not feel that way. This shirt has not lost its shape or colors since I have had the pleasure of owning it. While most poly/cotton blended shirts consist of a 50/50 blend, this shirt boasts a 55/45 blend with more cotton. That extra little bit of cotton, in my opinion, makes the shirt a little softer and easier on the skin. While cotton tends to shrink a bit quicker than other materials, I have not experienced that with this shirt, still fits with perfection.
The seams on this shirt are strong and I have had no issues with the shirt falling apart at the seams or any seams ripping. The stitching on the lettering is meticulously neat and legible from quite a distance. The collar is strong and keeps its shape throughout the day. The added button on the collar is a favorite design of mine on any collared shirt and does not disappoint on this one either. The cuff fits tight enough on my wrists to not go over my hands and loose enough to provide comfort. Also, the shirt length is plenty long enough to be tucked in or worn untucked. Finally, the pocket is keeping its shape and capable of holding several items (I tend to amass many items in my pockets throughout the day).
The design and overall appearance of this shirt caught my eye from day one, and now that I own it, I see that the quality is definitely another outstanding feature. I look forward to showing this shirt off to my friends at the museum when I go in a few months and can’t wait for it to be a conversation piece while I stand amongst artifacts that are both awe-inspiring and historically important to this nation and the history of World War II. I would recommend this shirt to all and if anybody is listening, now is the time to get it because it doesn’t look like there are many left.
