Description
B-24 Liberator Hot Wings 4" x 5" Diecast Model with Runway Piece
Collect the Whole Fleet!
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was used by every branch of the United States military during WWII as well as other Allied forces. Although the B-24 was faster, could carry more, and had a greater range than the B-17 Flying Fortress, it was more difficult to fly, and due to the placement of the fuel tanks it had a tendency to catch fire.
Despite this, the Liberator is the most-produced American military aircraft in history with over 18,400 units. Its success in WWII was thanks to its high payload and its long range.
Every Hot Wings plane comes with a collector card and connectible runway system that allows collectors to build their own runways and airports. This diecast plane measures 3" long with a 4½" wingspan.
Make sure to visit The National WWII Museum's very own B-24 Liberator fuselage located in our gorgeous Boeing Center at our campus in New Orleans, LA!
