B-25J Mitchell, Matted Print
Artist: Doug Kinsley

Introduced in 1941, North American Aviation's B-25 Mitchell was a twin engine, medium bomber that was used in the Pacific, North African and European theaters during World War II. The B-25 gained its first touch with fame during the April 1942 retaliation attack on Japan, known as the Doolitte Raid.

About the Artist
Doug Kinsley is owner of Aviation Illustrations which has been in the business of selling his aviation art for the last 19 years. Having drawn airplanes since he was a kid with no formal art training, his love for airplanes has enabled him to draw in such detail that one would have to take a second look.

Each drawing is thoroughly researched to ensure historical accuracy with unmatched detail - often taking up to 500 hours to complete the original, and on some of his prints you can find loving tributes to his family.

Doug has earned numerous awards for his artwork including a merit and honorable mention award at the EAA's annual art conference. His artwork is currently sold throughout the country in numerous art museums.

Each lithograph is printed on heavyweight acid-free paper and custom matted.
