Description

USAAF B-29 Superfortress 1:200 Postage Stamp Model

Very few aircraft in history are as well known as the legendary Enola Gay, the B-29 Superfortress that dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, on August 6, 1945. While the real Enola Gay now resides at the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at Washington Dulles International Airport, our B-29 Superfortress Postage Stamp Model makes it possible - and affordable - to enjoy a piece of aviation history right in the comfort of your own home, hangar, or office.

This superb 1:200 replica of the world-famous WWII bomber boasts robust diecast construction throughout, so you can rest assured it will still be going strong well into the future. It also features the same silvery exterior and the external markings as its big sister, as well as a meticulous - and 100% accurate - level of detail from nose to tail. Purchase includes a sturdy black display stand with informational markings on the B-29. A phenomenal tribute to an American aviation legend no aircraft enthusiast should be without. Wingspan measures 8in from tip to tip.

The model is great. Would love to see it a little bigger, but all in all - it is very cool. Would love to have the same die case metal P-51 and B-25 to make my collection complete!
