During the D-Day Invasion, Seaman William Lamont saw his ship's pennant falling towards the water. He rescued it, but to do so he left his gunnery post - an offense that could result in a court martial. Afraid of this, he tied it around his waist and only revealed his story after the war.

Made of solid brass, electro-plated with non-tarnishing silver finish, giclee print.

•Ear wires are Hypo-allergenic
•Earrings hang approximately 2"
•Made in the USA
