Description
Rosie the Riveter Mug
This 10 oz., ceramic mug is microwave safe, dishwasher safe, and it features the iconic Rosie the Riveter "We Can Do It!" image by J. Howard Miller created in 1942.
The image was based off of a United Press photograph taken in Lansing, Michigan of Geraldine Doyle. It was intended to help recruit women to the work force while their male counterparts were off fighting in WWII. It remains a symbol of female contribution and empowerment to this day.

A coffee cup with an asterisk
Decent cup, but made in China? What a shame the Museum buys “made in China” rather than “made is USA” products. *Thank you for your feedback! You can shop our Made in USA items under the MORE category. -The Museum Store Team

Rosie Riverter cup
Love it. Reminds me of my Mom who was a Rosie the Riveter during WWII. She worked on engines in the GE plant in Cincinnati, Ohio. Only regret is it was made in China. There are very capable pottery companies in the USA that could make these cups.
