Women Ordnance Worker Magnet Set

During World War II, the young women of America lined up at factories and arsenals to fill jobs left vacant by the men who went to fight. They bagged gunpowder, made weapons, created ammunition, and also operated heavy cranes, mailing machines, and countless other heavy tools that most women had never even heard of before the war.

    WOW magnet set

Posted by Unknown on Feb 19th 2025

Great item as described. My grandma helped load TNT into bombs in a hidden factory in the farm fields of Illinois. I want to commemorate her bravery for my grandchildren. In the 1940s, there were no pictures allowed due to security. So this may be all we have to pass along to the family. Thank you.
