Invasion Star Olive Green Zip Hoodie

Army Drab Olive Green, full zip hoodie features a large white Invasion Star on the front with The National WWII Museum logo on the left sleeve.

Most American military vehicles are painted with a star insignia to help distinguish friend from foe. For the invasion of Normandy, a large white star with a white circle was used. The star was also adopted by other western Allied forces in 1944 and become a ubiquitous symbol of the allied forces as they liberated Europe.

    Just recently my young grandson has become quite the WWII enthusiast. When he saw the invasion star emblem, he knew right away what it pertained to and could not believe his eyes I found a hoodie like it! This hoodie is light weight, perfect for a young person who tends to be on the huskier side. It also seems to run smaller, so I would keep that in mind if someone wants to order it. In fact, I had to exchange my original order for a larger size. My grandson and I are extremely happy with this purchase. I would definitely purchase this again!!

    I bought one for my grandson and my husband liked it so much I ordered 2 more. My husband is wearing it right now. Quality is outstanding. Fantastic price.
